An armed movement converting into legal politics through a recognised interlocutor framework. The movement retains authorship over its own transition.
The same practical steps — disarmament, cadre returns, dissolution of structures — can be read in two opposite ways. The struggle is now over which narrative prevails and what it leaves open or closed for Kurdish politics afterwards.
